The optical sensor mechatronics training set is a training assessment device that simulates industrial site workflow environments for different types of workpiece processing and testing, handling and automatic assembly, and stamping and classification storage. It uses a variety of sensors to achieve the detection and identification of the workpiece, as well as deliver the workpiece via a manipulator and handling mechanism. Finally, the optical sensor mechatronics training set will also complete classification storage for the workpiece with the use of a sorting mechanism
The system is composed of an aluminum workbench, feeding and testing unit, manipulator, processing unit, assembly and punching unit, ASRS and DC speed regulation unit.
The optical sensor mechatronics training set uses a modular control unit. The control module includes a Mitsubishi/Siemens PLC module, Mitsubishi/Siemens converter module, double-closed-loop DC speed regulation module, servo drive and servo motor module, stepper drives and stepper motor module. The control objective includes a feeding and testing unit module, processing unit, handling manipulator unit, assembly stamping unit, and ASRS module.
The system adds dual closed-loop speed control module to drive DC motor speed regulation.
